Awning troubles?
This is the time of year we stock awning ground poles and rafter poles due to "pop up storms" or strong winds. If you are unsure of the weather, or plan on leaving your site for the day put your awning up. This is especially true if you are near water,- where the wind currents can be stronger.
If expecting a rain storm, please put your awning at an angle to allow for water drainage. This will prevent water from collecting in the front and bending the front channel.
For those of you with travel trailers, you will also need to put the awning on a slant. When in doubt, put it down further than you think you need.
Have fun, but try to take preventative measures!
